We observed that Richard Cory is straight forward, direct and has chaw of descriptions unlike the poem We Real Cool, that requires the reader to use their imagination. However, both poems rhyme. Both poems talks closely the importances of education of how the advantages of staying in school can get you far or how it can hinder your life. Even though both authors were born in different time era, they both plow the same struggles and disadvantages.
